Facts Center for Journalism Services is a non-profit platform born out of necessity and based on the experiences of journalists, academics, researchers and businessmen and women in Sudan. In a country where the lack of access to accurate information continues to have a significantly detrimental impact on the quality of journalism, public service provision, private sector performance, and international development projects, the need for a consolidated, reliable, and easily accessible source of information is paramount.

Arif Elsawi

Co-Founder and Director

Mr. Arif Elsawi, brings an impressive array of journalistic experience to The facts center. Through his on-the-ground experience covering contentious political issues within the context of a repressive media environment.

Magdi Alguzuli

Chairman of The Board of Advisors

Dr. Al Gozuli brings a wealth of research and academic experience on the political situation in Sudan. He is the author of the blog StillSUDAN and a fellow at the Rift Vally Institute.

Alyaa Sir Alkhatim

Co-Founder, Story Lab

PGD in Filmmaking London Film School 2012, MA with distinction on creative digital professions, University of Greenwich, UK. Alyaa is a Khartoum based filmmaker/producer and script writer.
