South African elections: populist opposition party gains ground in Western Cape

Two weeks away from the elections in South Africa, the two main rivals the Cape Province, Nelson Mendela’s ANC and the DA (Democratic Alliance), could be outdone by a kingmaker. The Patriotic Alliance, a populist party in favor of the death penalty and the deportation of immigrants.
