[Dabanga] Sudan — The Sudan Media Forum, a coalition of prominent independent Sudanese media outlets and organisations, has launched an urgent appeal to the international community to assist the Forum and the Sudanese media sector as a whole, particularly in the important areas of safety of journalists, media survival, countering the proliferation of disinformation and hate speech, and to restore Sudan’s communications infrastructure, to ensure the Sudanese people’s right to information.
