UNSC Expected to Terminate UNITAMS Mission in Sudan

[Dabanga] New York — The UN Security Council (UNSC) is expected to vote later this evening on a resolution to end the mandate of the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS) set out in Security Council Resolution 2579 (2021), effective December 3, when the current mandate was due to expire.
