South Africa and Chad have decided to recall their diplomatic staff from Israel for consultations. The move come in response to Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. Also, more than 20 people have been killed in an attack near the Sudanese capital Khartoum. Since April, violence has left at least 10 thousand people dead and millions displaced. Finally in Uganda, the discovery of vast gold deposits is not only changing the way local communities live but also endangering a crucial commodity: water.
