South Africa’s ruling ANC party faces unpredictable vote


One day ahead of general elections in South Africa, we look ahead to what’s at stake for the ruling African National Congress, which is in danger of losing its majority for the first time since the birth of democracy there. In a country where the youth make up the majority of the population, a bleak outlook is keeping many of them away from the polls.
